Use the reference.date.string-date annotation to identify a date in a citation. Whereever possible, the date will automatically be parsed into <day>, <month> and <year>. Otherwise, it will become a <string-date> element.

Use one of the annotations for either a <mixed-citation> or an <element-citation> on the paragraph that contains the date.
